well it's a good thing you didn't watch the Oprah on it then - I was bawling. My hubby got really mad at me for even having it on - he was working on his laptop and just half paying attention it really disturbed him too. BUT like most Oprahs, anyone who watched it learned a lesson through this dreadful story. Just stupid things like me "quick" running to grab something from another room while my toddler's in the tub, etc.--no more. It was an obvious reminder that when you are with your child(ren), your world really does have to revolve around them and the constant multi-tasking we're all guilty of must take a backseat.

I had to stop watching that episode of Oprah. It did remind me that my children always have to take priority- even if I feel I really have to get laundry done etc... Kara can't make her own safe decisions for herself yet, and that's why she needs me and my husband.

I couldn't agree with you guys more! This Oprah really made me change my ways!! I am the queen of multi-tasking! However, I need to give my kids 150% of my undivided attention when I am with them. The area I need to work on is right before dinner. I am always running around trying to pick up the house and make dinner....while the kids play. If the house isn't picked up when Kevin gets home....oh well!!! Danielle
