Hi there,
I just found your blog and thought you might be interested in the Holistic Moms Network - a national non-profit connecting parents who are passionate about holistic health and green living. Membets meet monthly through their local chapters to share information and support. Topics for discussion include anything relevant to members' concerns, from breastfeeding, healthy eating and alternative medicine, to how to find a holistic pediatrician, vaccines, family issues, growing your own food, and living eco-consciously. HMN's new cookook, Growing Healthy Families, features 300 recipes from members and guest chefs as well as a section of recipes for homemade baby food, non-toxic cleaners and herbal remedies. For more information, please visit www.holisticmoms.org or call (877) HOL-MOMS.
I just checked out the website! It sounds like a wonderful organization! Wish we had a local chapter. I am going to order the cookbook! :) Danielle
Students from East (where some of us work) will have "box city" houses on exhibit at this event. Students have been working on these over the past 2 months. They seem really neat... very creative. They are house created from boxes that simulate "green" situations.
Just an FYI
