My hubby is GREAT with our daughter. He is home with her all morning and plays whatever she wants. I have heard him on the monitor having a tea party with her and her stuffed bears, i have watched him let her dress him up. It really is cute to see this tuff police officer playing with such a sweet little girl.

I think our generation in general is so blessed to have husbands more involved in the day to day activities --I don't know how I would make it without him, and I have the utmost respect for all the single moms out there!!

Last weekend my hubby took my daughter to the library for a Mothers Day card-making/craft hour...and not only did they make one for me, but he surprised me by bringing home a handful of cards for her grandmas and great-grandmas as well - all complete with her scribbles & endearing attempts at using rubber stamps :)

I think my husband has been a better mom than I am since the time Gavin was born! He is such a natural with babies and toddlers- everything he does with Gavin makes me smile :) I am most happy that I think our little boy is bound to grow up a sweet and sensitive boy like his dad...He'll make a great husband someday!

These posts are so sweet!!

I think what melts my heart the most is that from the second my husband walks in the door, it is go time!! He plays, reads books, becomes a human jungle gym, sings nursery rhymes, does dinner, baths and never complains or says he needs a break. He truly loves his time with his boys. I am grateful that he is such a teamplayer!!! :)

My husband LOVES having a little girl. And she has him wrapped around her finger. I love that he just plays with her and doesn't have the "mom" worries of getting dirty or hurt.

He plays the role of her "protector" and that is SO endearing.

No matter what kind of day he has had, Daddy game face is on the second he comes home... and it is all about Kara until he puts her to bed, which is their special time.

He has come to realize little girls can do ANYTHING, and he is planning on teaching how to dribble with both hands :)

I could not imagine doing this without my husband, we are both so lucky to have him in our lives.
