My lovely husband wakes up with the children so I can get a few extra zzz's. We go to church and my parents and the outlaws come over to our house for breakfast. Ooops! We exchange gifts that I made with the kids. The kids make a handprint and I find a poem and we give them to each Nana. It's amazing how fast their little hands grow!

When we were little, everyone used to go to my grandma's house and plant flowers for her. Now that she has passed away and we have a child of our own, we go to church, then my husband takes us on a suprise trip that he has planned for the day. Some of his places have been a little funny, but it warms my heart knowing that he tries to plan a special day for me :)

My grandma, mom, and sister and I all go to the spa as a gift to eachother. I LOVE this tradition!

I thought I'd give you the update of my husband's suprise trip this year. He wanted to take Gavin and me to the zoo, but 2 minutes into the drive there, it started downpouring and never let up for the rest of the day. Can I say TYPICAL?? I love my husband dearly, and love our funny tradition of spoiled plans :)
